Role: System Administration Support
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Location: Southampton (hybrid - minimum 3 days in the office)
As the Systems administration support for AVASK, your role is to ensure that users are encouraged to utilise key systems correctly, that business data integrity is maintained, and new tickets and requests for the Operations functions are triaged and managed effectively.
A good understanding of business processes will be gained as part of the role. An enthusiastic, curious, and data-driven approach to both problem-solving and understanding user needs is needed. You will ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients and colleagues. You will primarily support the CRM Product Owner and Customer Experience Specialist with reporting, ticket management, and administration of systems.
System Administration Support, the role
Ticket Management
Manage daily ticket triage, categorisation, and assignment to the service teams.
Respond to general account support tickets and solve.
Conduct basic audits for data completeness and flag anomalies.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Prepare and export routine reports
Maintain historical ticket logs and create simple dashboards for performance metrics.
Ensure appropriate controls are in place to maintain data integrity
Identify and correct errors made by system users – communicate errors made in a friendly and helpful manner.
Process development
Work with CRM and CX managers and stakeholders to help draft specifications for system requirements.
Create and maintain user guides for new feature implementation and update existing documentation where system changes are made.
Test new changes to the systems alongside end-users.
Training and Support
Provide initial helpdesk support for all users across the Group.
Provide support by assisting the user community with the systems and related tools.
Help provide ongoing refresher training and training of new staff.
Refer issues to the CRM and CX managers where required and monitor for resolution.
System Administration Support, the person
Essential
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a related role.
Systematic and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving.
Strong task management and prioritisation skills.
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable
Knowledge of business processes and workflows across sales, marketing, business operations, and their application in software systems.
Experience in Customer Support platforms or ITIL qualification.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and competence with key formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query.
Experience with data analysis and project coordination.
